RIP Good Angus. I first met you in October 1973 on the Campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland, in St. John’s Newfoundland. I was being interviewed for a faculty position, and your telling me that “I am prepared to request the President to recommend to the Board that you be appointed as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science …” still is part of my memories. We moved to St. John’s, and our connection grew and our children’s social lives were enriched in a large measure because of our association. I know that your faith drove all you have done in an amazing career, and that you are now at the side of the Almighty. To Jane and family, Ferial and I offer our condolences.
